Lessons from the rape academy
62 million viewers are "curious" about the sexual power that men can exert over women.
Power. Over. Women.
Stop me if you already know where this is going.
I’ve taken my time commenting on this news because, well, my last six months of work has covered so many facets of this topic.
But today, I want to clarify the entire arc from a spiritual perspective.
In doing that, I'm going to define two rarely discussed layers of violation:
1. Energetic Rape: The insidious depletion of another's life-force in order to disempower them or feed the ego.
2. Institutional Rape: The systemization of energetic rape as the foundation for all energy exchanges that take place from it.
Patriarchy is the institutional rape of the Divine Feminine.
The Masculine is not meant to take; it is built to give.
The Feminine is not meant to yield; she is designed to receive.
However, the inverse polarity has reigned for millenia, suppressing the divine within both and leaving wounded egos to set the frequency of this planet.
That era is ending.
But first, we are being inundated with every ugly, hidden product of the old system:
Extractive sex. Empty unions. The proliferation of both through porn.
The way that power—in every hierarchy—converts 'personhood' into 'commodity' as it increases.
The planet is undergoing a healing crisis. The "virus" it is currently trying to burn out is Patriarchy.
What I'M curious about is what that purge looks like in the context of people's lives.
So I'll ask this reader:
— When soul-cannibalism becomes a clear part of an environment that you occupy, how do you, or have you, removed yourself from that system?
